I would invite people to visit this place in Southwest Virginia 20 miles from Blacksburg, Home of Hokies-VIRGINIA TECH.
It was a pretty good 2 mile hike for beginners and the destination later is even better. You see in pictures. A perfect place to hang around and spend the whole day during weekends. Swim, play and do all activities. We paid $3 per car. Even better is to carry lunch and have a picnic beside the waterfalls.
Not too many animals but butterflies are all around us. Even though we went on hot 90F day, we felt the temperature to be in 70s near the falls (Don't even bother to carry shades or hats). Even though its lot of noise because of ~70 feet falls, the breeze would blow you apart.
